What are good essential oils for skin care?
I heard that when it comes to skin care is necessary to use essential oils (no base oils). What is the difference between the two? I've been using jojoba oil, but I think I want to change a bit around. What is best for the facial skin care, combination skin? There jojoba, almond, grape seed, tea tree, sunflower seeds, coconut, etc.
In general, the effects of essential oils can be divided into two basic groups. Some essential oils have real physical effects. For example, eucalyptus oil can be inhaled to help clear sinuses and respiratory tract. This obviously relieve some symptoms of an upper respiratory infection (URI). Some oils can be used topically (directly on the skin, which usually would be absorbed by the body, or a wound) to the ability to relieve swelling or fight off certain infections.
